On December 3rd, Horseshoe Bay Resort will host their traditional Winter Wonderland Extravaganza & Holiday Shopping Market, where guests can shop among specially curated local vendors for that perfect holiday gift. In addition to the shopping market, you'll love all the fun outdoor activities, including photos with Santa, horse-drawn carriage rides, Texas snow, a ceremonial tree lighting, fireside s'mores, a holiday laser light show, and more.
Tree Lighting at LBJ State Park
If you're planning to be near Lake LBJ this December, plan to spend the evening of December 17th at LBJ State Park. A charming community holiday celebration and tree lighting will take place, perfect for the whole family. The event will feature music, a live nativity, a visit from Santa, and of course the tree lighting.
Light the Night Christmas Parade
On December 1st, the Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce will host the Light the Night Christmas Parade. Rolling down Main Street, the parade will dazzle guests of all ages, narrated by CBS Austin's local news anchors. The parade is free and open to the public, but reserved seating is available for sale if you'd like to make sure you get a great front row seat to enjoy all the fun. After the parade, enjoy food and drinks for sale or get a photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus!

Spend the day searching for a unique, handmade, one of a kind gift at Oma's Christmas Craft Fair on December 2nd and 3rd. For over 25 years, Oma's Christmas Craft Fair has been a favorite holiday shopping event in the Kendall County area. Filling the Kendall County Fairgrounds, you'll be able to shop til you drop among specialty goods that have been drawn, carved, woven, cooked, beaded, and sewn.
